Trains and Marbles

These are what made up a birthday present for one of DS's friends last weekend.

T-shirt is Ottobre 3/2008 #29 - the spider t-shirt. This is a great pattern. The embroidery is one that is stock on my machine, as the birthday boy loves trains.

He also loves marbles - and happened to have a bag of them handy, so I made a storage bag to keep them in. I cut out circles and sewed scraps of fabric behind them to make them look like marbles.

He loved them!

Cheers!

Love the marble bag, how cool.

Great T too. I am still getting the hang of the neckline on t-shirts. Just did Otto 301 T which was nice and easy and I like the slim fit for my skinny kids but oh those necklines just about killed me LOL.

Liz you always inspire! thanks
